The night was cool, relaxing. Stars sprinkled the navy sky with blinking silver. Except, the darkness was no more than a band of tension. Mentally, she could here a conversation between two rebels nearby;; dangerously lurking near the junkyard fence. Physically, she could see the speckled figure of Poise on the other side. Her thoughts were colorful, when she tuned in that morning whenthe leader of the rejects was speaking. His thoughts, weren't that much a risk. He didn't even feel the pain. She had endured the new ability to a new standard.
She took a few steps backward, then leapt into a run. The wind whisped across her pelt, her auds pouncing off of the concrete and into the thin air. There was an angled, lower part of the barbed fence she could enter through in the side. Away from the entrance. Away from any trace. Canines with an excessive gift for keen senses could locate her. Her mind branched out to the rejects hidden inside the wired barrier... until she found the one she was looking for.
Alibi released the pain with a burning factor, so the mutt would know who was it tresspassing. She wasn't getting into a trouble, totally purposely. But for the matters of a leader-to-leader conversation.

The wind blew the fur along his spine back as he lay in the backseat of an old Buick, rusty but welcoming. Head resting on outstretched paws, a long sigh was released. A hard day had passed. The low creaking of a broken front door could be heard as the wind gained some speed, then fell away. Liquid eyes stared at nothingness, though the doors in the back had been ripped off the brujo simply watched the little movements of his mini-kingdom. All was well today. nice and quiet, everything as it should be. The snarling of a few rebels could be heard outside of his fence, but the two drew no attention from this leader.
Tail twitching as it hung over the seat, nose quivering as the wind shifted and brought new scents to him. Head rose with a snap, eyes glowing something dangerous and a snarl formed deep within his throat. Eyes crossed, the figure slunk from his shelter like a lion from his den. Fangs bared in defiance, the male swung toward the right, staring down the pile of junk in his view. A wide circle around everything, his whole junkyard pretty much, and he came up on the left of the trespasser.
Like a rabid wolf, he lowered his head and released his growl of anger that those paws were stepping on his land. A picture formed in his mind, silvery claws sinking into her auburn side, pearly fangs ripping into white chest. Erasing it immediately so that the female wouldn't know of his desire, though she was well aware of the hate, the male sat back upon his haunches in the darkness. "This better be important." The words were icy, snarled and spat at her with a demanding tone. Yet, he was strangely civil, as any other day he wouldn't hesitate to leap at her. Sweeping black tail round his paws, he lowered himself to the ground like a cat, amber eyes still resting on the lead female, waiting for her to speak.

She chuckled at his words, feeling the strict, "I can't believe your on our land." tint. Alibi copied his movements and slid down so her creme-colored belly was against the rippled cement. It hurts doesn't it? To have someone else in your head? She mocked, grinning sickingly. She saw an image flicker inside him, of her bowing down to his rein. Not possible. Alibi put her head up in authority, the risk burning to a higher stake. It wouldn't be the first time.
She let the words sink in. For Lucifer to realize she had been inside his mind before, a battle could break out in the one of many seconds her life was on the line. No matter;; she had her gift. One she didn't have a choice of possessing, as an advantage to the upcoming crime. If only he'd understand that tiny concept that we didn't choose to be elementals. ...Poise... she caught the word in a net as she let the flames turn his private memories to ash.
Ahh, the poor dalmation. He called her his princess that morning. She'd be nothing more than what she was now. Lower, ever invisible. Ever unseen or sought to exsist in the new world. Her thoughts flipped and an image of the blue-eyed female flashed. Then blew out like wind whispering next to a lit candle.
Her tail brushed over to her side, then to the other, eyes locked onto the amberlets of the irritated male. His fangs were bared, pearly whites in the ebony darknes. From around her, she could hear, mentally and by scrapping dust around that she was completly surrounded. Even the dalmation was hidden behind the cars, staring at her with her single silver iris...

Eyes narrowed down his muzzle, staring intently at the female. It would be so simple to take her down, and yet she had no idea. He didn't care if she could read his mind or not, there was nothing to hide. Whether Alibi knew of his plans to take the streets or not, it would be laid out soon enough. Rolling his eyes at her words, fairly untouched by the tone of them, he quickly rose to his paws, tail curled above his back with his head high. He remained in his spot, eyes shifting to the right where a rustle in the junk could be heard before easing his gaze back to Alibi.
"I'm quite used to it, thanks for asking." Liquid eyes poured into her, staring deep within her eyes. Though he could not read her mind, he was quite capable of draining her completely in only a few seconds. Smile twisted his visage, fangs gleaming still. Ears stood in a puppyish way, muscles rippling as Lucifer took a step forward. "So tell me, what brings you here, your highness?"
Now only a few feet from the Sypers leader, Lucifer looked down at her, the pretty female that he could drain, yet she could read his mind, Evenly matched, yet he had the upper hand. Poise would forever unleash her revenge on this girl, Lucifer would gladly help, and if he could get Gauvnt to remember the good times they had then he would have her hand as well. Rolling his eyes slightly, he seated himself and drew his tail about his paws once more. "Well?"

Don't call me that, please. She insisted. Alibi wasn't going to be rude about it. Neither if she liked the brute or not. He was still pure-blooded monster on her own behalf, except reading his overly-whelmed thoughts were worth the little agony she felt behind it. Guilt? Never. It was an unnamed match compared to the thinking, the memories, of how they barely reconized eachother in the past life.
...the damned... she caught inside her net of mental silverlining. Look at it, he was vulnerable. Not easily, but it was the spotted pooch that was his "pride" and his moral "joy". Ha, what was it that made it everything to watch Lucifer fall under the mere fire of reading minds? Yet, she couldn't forget his own, telepathic power to melt minds. He wasn't able to, to her at least, with the strength she was beholding under the Syper rein. And so she mended herself to speak solemnly.
It deals with the Rebels, king, she spat at the word. King, it didn't fit right with Lucifer. But, but. He would appricate the title. Or just like the sound of it. His plans for the future war weren't private, and he knew well enough about that too. Even admitting against his pain. That was almost something to applaude.

A soft click of his tongue as Lucifer pranced forward, then sat back, as if he was unable to decide whether he just wanted to eat her or let her speak. After all, Alibi had come alone, to her rival's territory, which no one in their right mind would do. Your wish is my command! A smirk plastered its self on his face. Yup, she'd get that message alright. thingying his head, Lucifer flicked his tail in agitation. The silence made his head hurt a little bit for some reason. Rolling his eyes slightly as she didn't answer, but seemed to be lost in thought, he sat back and dragged his gaze around, a glare that could stop each side of a war.
Finally, the brat spoke up. The Rebels? This caught his interest a bit, and allowed the fur along his shoulders rise then fall back in place. "The Rebels?" He repeated her words several times in his mind. His gaze back on Alibi's pretty figure, he lifted his head back into his Lead Male position. "Yes? What about them?" Were they attacking the Sypers? If so, and she was looking for help, she was in the wrong place. Maybe their ranks were just growing, something even Lucifer himself could be worried about. The Rejects were strong, but could easily be out numbered. With a sigh, he relaxed himself and looked at her a bit more softly. He'd give her time to explain.

Your wish is my command! What a joke! She could hear just fine without the millions of stupid repeating. It was pointless. Her hearing wasn't gone, physically and mentally. His words were different, sarcastic. I don't need help, hell no. ...the brat... What a childish name to call someone of the same height as you! Two leaders. Battling it off mentally and with words.
Yes, the Rebels. She found her words like they were names. Easily remembered and not rehearsed. Nothing planned. No traps. Just a mutual conversation between two Alphas. Or so, if there were to be blood spilled, she'd fight until the sun would rise at noon to fall. Or not fall at all with her gift.
They aren't outnumbered, they are huge. But some are falling to a disease. Something that is starting to spread to the packs of our own. Guavnt will have to be warned, as well as the other members. You understand, don't you? Of course he did. Anything to keep himself and the Rejects in the running for the world would help. Plus his little Poise. The damned betch.
