why baby? why make me feel so invisible? don't you know it hurts to live in some one else's shadow? do you baby? why make me feel this way when she doesn't even know you exist? i know i don't have the the power of invisiblty, last time i checked.

the salty air lifted into the air of the docks. the smell was simply terrible to a nose with such great sense of smell. oh what a lucky dog you are no? well not really, just being a smart ass. the musky air that blended with the salty air, made it hard to pay attention to anything else. was the world coming to a end? well maybe, who really knew. maybe it was time to take action, than to sit around and hope for the best. that wasn't needed it seemed. some water crashed into the docks, making it shake a bit. the air was slightly cool, but also had a hot tint to it. what a lovely day to spend. the sun was slowly setting in the distance, making the sky different colors. giving it the romance type appeal.
small little puffs of clouded still drifted in the sky, it irked people to know end. why did the sky have to be so...peace? why did God make it that way? did he even have a good reason? now, now i'm not being rude, well perhaps i am. who cares okay? simple questions that needed answers. sometimes the sky was not peace, at times killing others. wasn't that how the world worked though? you live, you die and that's it? wow, i want to be in the world. don't you? maybe the sun set was something to give hope to others, like to encourage those who really cared. something to look forward perhaps? who really knows.
a snicker lifted into the quiet place, the only thing that was heard. besides the click on nails hitting the boards that were used to help everyone do something. gauvnt's eyes flashed as she continued her way, not getting to close to the egde. she was smarted then that and keep to the middle, but even the smartest dog would get knocked in, if something per say broke. ears flicked twitched and she jumped, landing on the other side of the broken boards. such a wonderful place the earth was for most. it had it's monment when it was worth while.
then others...where it was dangerous, the sky was so colorful. the clicks keep it's nice musical tone as she keep the slow jog. she had no mind to where she was going. just simply looking around. for what? maybe nothing, maybe something. it was hard to tell. the female flickered her tail to the side, lifting it a few seconds in a domante action. she was a leader so it was her right. gauvnts eyes looked up at the sky, changing a color to the sky's relfection that showed in hers. she sniffed the sir with slight curiousty.
the female looked back ahead, looking to where the dock stopped. "damn it." the curse was something to be ware of? maybe not, but she was disappointed. she wanted to keep going, till she couldn't anymore. gauvnt's eyes fixed on the ocean a head of her. giving her the slight wonder of it, but nothing showed of it on the outside, only the inside. the clicking on her nails ceased as she sat down. her eyes looked at the ocean in a stare that showed no interest.
her eyes were dull, nothing shown within them. they never did have that glow in her eyes anymore. it seemed as though she was looking into deep space, nothing to stop her or tell her where to look. a sigh lifted into the air, making gauvnt look up at the sky, looking into the rainbow colors. letting the beauty over come her. dark brown or ambered hues looked at the slowly descending sun that seemed to be running.

The water was salty, even more so than by the shoreline. His talk with gorgeous Poise had been comforting somehow. Lifting his head, the black-and-silver beast leaped up to the boards. A scent drifted toward him, faint, but there. Unable to place it, Lucifer continued on. Poise wouldn't miss him, she'd be able to find something to keep herself happy. besides, she liked to be alone, and would probably find some place to sit and think or take a nap.
Alibi's figure crossed his line of sight, and it was several moments before Lucifer realized his mind was playing tricks on him. Shaking his massive head, tail curled over his back, he continued to pad across the thick boards. Silver nails click-clacked against the middle of each board as the hound slowly made his way to the edge. Looking down at the slurping water, he watched with amber eyes as it slapped harshly against the poles of the dock. Measuring with his eyes the distance to the remaining boards in front of him, the alaskan malamute bunched his muscles and leaped easily to the other side.
Now, a simple figure came into vision. Shaking his head, he realized it was real. The scent of a female drifted toward his nose, and inhaling he could detect a slight familiarness. Tipping his head to the side, Lucifer picked up his pace a bit and made his way toward the collie that was laying at the edge of the boards.
The blueish tint to her pelt was rather pretty, he could tell from a few meters away. Jaws opening to drink in the scent. A slight smile played across his black visage. Ahh, what did we have here? Sitting back upon his haunches, he eyed the smaller female before him. Obviously she had not scented him coming up behind her, a poor defense on her fault. Rolling those liquid amber eyes he swept his tail over his paws and let out a small yet civil growl. Long time no see, miss Gauvnt.

brown hued eyes steadily closed and stayed like that to get rid of the urge to leave because of the salty air. the ocean crashed against the dock, sending some water onto her fur. the blue Merle tint darkened where the water hit. having a wet look, in which it was wet indeed. the air held something else, but what gauvnt herself was trying to ignore. closed lids stayed the way they were. ignoring the fact someone was behind her. she snorted and licked her lips, tasting the salty water with a light pink tongue.
'why me?' those words flickered into her mind. she wanted to escape this world, maybe place...find something else new you know. but she has her duties here and she wouldn't stand to just leave. maybe find something...something she was looking for. all she wanted was different. it seemed it was hard to ask for. but really...how hard was it? the smell was getting stronger, but gauvnt stayed still. slowly opening those brown hues and looked at the sun flickered her tail to the right. when her tail went to the right, she was very irritated with something. well in this case.
someone. the words rang in her ears, then slowly into her mind. 'the voice...so familiar.' her knew her name, yet she didn't know him. hues looked to the corner of her eyes, looking at the malamute. slowly looking him over. she saw no interest in him. she wasn't into males, well...except for him. but it was the past. she never clung to it and she never would. like she says it's the past, it's over and done with. slowly the merle collie stood, tail raised in a dominate manner, looking at the male she face him. eyes dull, showing no emotion. the merle looked at him, once again no interest.
'he knows my name yet i don't recall his.' the cool words held no pleasure in knowing his name or who he was or what he was doing here. nothing really. but if he knew her name, he must be someone important to her. the name how it rolled off his tongue made her want to turn to her past. cool brown pools looked at the male. made her want to search, but she didn't make one step to it. slowly she sat down on her rear. "shame, you know me. yet..." she stopped and looked him before continuing. "i do not know you." the words were cold, something she was. she just wasn't in the mood to be messed with.
today wasn't a good day for her, well for everyone. gauvnt looked down at where he came from, mind wondering a bit. trying to jog a memory, the past was messing with her. looks but no name. a soft gust of wind whispered into their ears. giving it a tingling feeling, though gauvnt ignored it. games just were not her thing. who was he, but...she was really asking who is he to her? a old friends perhaps? he doesn't look like one. gosh memories just don't work like they use to. what little role did he play in her world? enemy or friend? brown eyes flashed with slight wonder, but also mischief.
he was cute nonetheless, but gauvnt keep her mouth shut. her brown hues looked him over, unknown to him, but keeping in the look "who the hell are you?". she used this most of the time, but she was rather curious but not really with this male. so she didn't hurt his feelings. a twisted smirk lifted onto her features. hurt? oh wait. maybe she already did when she told him those words.

A smirk played across his face. Ah, so she didn't remember him? That's harsh, miss. Lucifer watched her movements, her eyes. She truly did not remember him. A little sadness, right? No. Wasn't her fault, they hadn't ended on the right foot anyway. How had she been doing? Being the leader of a pack must have taken some sort of a toll on her, it wasn't easy. Not even for him.
Oh, that really hurts Gauv. Releasing a long sigh, as if he really did care if she remembered him or not, he stared at her, but slightly past at the water that continued to slap at the dock poles like it wanted to make the whole thing drop. Being above water like this could be slightly scary, but not for Lucifer, and obviously not for Gauvnt. Claws slicing at the boards for a moment, he returned his full gaze to the figure before him. It's a shame that you don't remember me.
The words rolled off of his pink tongue with ease. His voice a shallow hiss of sorts. Her words made him smile, filled his heart with sick happiness. Eyes like fire, he wished he could burn the memory of them into her soul so that it would never leave, so it would haunt her ever breath. A snicker, tail twitching.
Ahh, well. Now is the time to fix that, no? Pacing toward her like a slinking tiger, one paw in front of the other, a nasty smile upon his black visage for no more than two seconds. Shaking his head, flinging his shaggy fur every which way on his face. Perhaps you remember my name? Lucifer.
Seating himself with only a foot of space between the two bodies, he lowered his head, inclining it out of eased respect to the opposing leader. Fake respect, at least. Eyes glowing at her, he stared at her eyes. His ability was to suck the energy from another by just staring like that, but he'd never do it to this one. Lucky her.

the cool words, were thick with scarcasim. she didn't give a shit if it hurt. cool brown orbs looked at the male. she was ignoring him, but to where she could here him. the fur along her spine slowly stood as he got closer. she almost snarled at him. she wasn't good with space and he...well was getting a little too close. the female snorted and lifted to her, looking to the side. not enough to expose her throat. her neck she was fine with. the snicker played into her head as he did so. 'annoying' sad she already wanted to leave. what a damn shame. her cool eyes looked at him, not making any eye contact. she snorted and stood, then walked past him. the name twisted into her brain, but she payed no mind to it.
she didn't give who in the hell he was. "oh no, it doesn't ring a bell." the words were harsh and slowly rolled off her tongue as she walked past in. taking a slow jog to where the beach was. she was slightly scarcastic with him. but did she care? she looked forward. nope, not at all. brown eyes looked up at the sky, the array of colors lifted around slowly changing as the sun went down. she didn't make any hesitantions to look back. she wouldn't. she would be willing but she didn't feel like it. "later stud, i have buisness and you aren't my buisness."
she didn't want to 'fix' anything. she was fine no? tail flicked to the side in irritation at him, she walked over to the broken board and jumped over them in one fluid action. she slowly closed her eyes and ignored him completely. it nwas nothing new to ignore someone, especially a male. a pink tongue slowly licked over her lips as she jogged away.

"Same as ever." A smirk as he let the female pass, eyes level as he watched her pad away. Rolling his amber eyes, he rocked back upon his haunches until she had crossed the first broken link of boards. Then he rose, smirk still plastered upon his visage and padded to the middle of his deck. Gaze still upon Gauvnt, he picked up his pace and leaped up and over the water, paws barely catching the edge of the next bridge.
"Wait." Why was he so intent on making her remember? not that he had ever cared before. Sighing, Lucifer picked up his pace until he was directly behind her, nearly tripping up on her heels. Narrowing his eyes so that he was looking down his silver muzzle, the male flicked his tail and strode faster until he was level with Gauvnt's shoulder. So she really didn't remember him? her past was a blur? Well that made him feel a whole bunch of fuzzy warmness.
Forgetting however long they'd known each other was like forgetting to put your underwear on. Impossible. Growling slightly, Lucifer swept himself around so that he was in her path. "How can you forget the most important man in your life?" This was said with a bitter chuckle, but he was also being serious.

the thump in her heart beated slowly in the normal motion. she ignored him, completely. he was nothing to her. she wouldn't even look at him as she continued. she knew something would stop her and make her stay, but what would? eyes looked to the side as she felt him move. she snorted in disgust. she wouldn't wait. she would never wait. like she said she had a place to be and he wasn't there. aw well too bad. she sighed as he got in front of her. her
